Hello
I'm Sophie O'Sullivan, the designer behind Just Sophie.
When I'm not chasing after my little ones or sipping far too much tea, you'll find me immersed in the world of spaces; how they feel, how they function, and how they tell stories. ​​​

Based in the Cotswolds, I draw constant inspiration from the region's architecture, landscape and craftsmanship.

How I See Design
A well-designed room can evoke emotion from the moment you enter, and I believe there's science behind that magic. I'm interested in the details that are often felt rather than noticed; proportion, flow, materiality and light. When these elements are resolved properly, a home feels intuitive, grounded and has the power to bring out the best in those who inhabit it.

Design, for me, is about restraint as much as creativity. It's knowing when to add, and when to let a space breathe.​

Sustainability & Craft
Sustainability is woven into every layer of my process.
I champion local makers, traditional skills and ethically sourced materials, always balancing environmental responsibility with aesthetic integrity and performance.

Experience & Focus
I’ve had the privilege of delivering projects across the globe, each one shaped by its cultural context and emotional resonance. My early years in commercial and hospitality work taught me to think conceptually and strategically about the space, and those skills translate naturally into thoughtful homes. Now, I focus primarily on residential interiors, with a small number of select boutique hospitality projects approached with a residential sensibility.
